Instructional excellence is a foundational pillar of the Azrieli Schools Talmud Torah | Herzliah experience. Our trilingual curriculum incorporates science, mathematics, engineering, literature, writing, art, music, physical education, technology and more. As a team of educators, our goal is to ensure a positive and well-rounded learning experience and ignite each student’s passion for learning through superior teaching. We get to know and appreciate each student’s unique interests, strengths, goals, and learning styles, and provide expanded enrichment opportunities and student support as needed.
In addition to our nurturing and accomplished faculty, we benefit from the expertise of experienced administrators and department heads.

Michelle Toledano
HEAD OF SCHOOL
Michelle Toledano is the Head of School at Azrieli Schools Talmud Torah | Herzliah since July 2020.
Michelle Toledano has been involved in Jewish Education for the past 29 years. She has a BA in Psychology and a Bachelor and Masters in Education. She taught English and Math for 17 years before joining our school in 2006. As an administrator at Herzliah, Mrs. Toledano worked with Secondary I and II students. She later became Principal of the Beutel Talmud Torah Campus located in Ville St. Laurent. During her tenure, she oversaw the successful consolidation of the two elementary schools unifying all under one roof on the Snowdon Campus.
Her vision and leadership continues to bring together families and staff, creating the beautiful and unique mosaic that makes up Azrieli Schools Talmud Torah|Herzliah.
Claudine Habre
DIRECTOR - HERZLIAH
Claudine Habre, who holds a bachelor's degree in psychosociology of communication and in teaching French at the secondary level, has taught French and social studies at Herzliah for many years. Thanks to her training and her career enriched with valuable professional experiences, she has succeeded in inspiring students by presenting them with effective learning strategies.
Ms. Habre coordinated the French programs in our elementary and secondary schools for several years, always ensuring a focus on public speaking and writing.
In recent years, Ms. Habre has held the position of Director of the French section, overseeing the academic aspect of the school.

Lorne Grintuch
DIRECTOR - HERZLIAH
Lorne Grintuch has been part of our school community for 12 years. “Mr.G”, as he is affectionately called by the students, began his career at Herzliah as a mathematics and science teacher before taking on the role of coordinator and then Assistant Principal. He brings much enthusiasm, energy, and experience to all that he does for our students, our faculty, and our school.
Before Herzliah, Mr. Grintuch gained valuable experience working in the public school sector and with various youth programs. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and education.

Arielle Medalsy
DIRECTOR - TALMUD TORAH
Ms. Medalsy has been at Talmud Torah since 2014 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She plays a key role in the daily management and academic success of the school. She provides pedagogical supervision, creates a stimulating learning environment, and promotes the development of each student. Ms. Medalsy works closely with teachers, parents, and the community to promote a positive school culture, encourage extracurricular activities, and ensure that students achieve their academic goals in a caring and rigorous environment.
