The Guidance Counsellor plays a key role in supporting Secondary 3 to 5 students as they explore their academic goals, post-secondary options, and future pathways. The counsellor guides students and families through course selection, graduation requirements, CEGEP and post-secondary planning, applications, and important timelines. As part of the Student Services team, the Guidance Counsellor also provides social-emotional support to students navigating the personal and developmental challenges of adolescence and works collaboratively with teachers, parents, administrators, the Academic Resource team, and outside professionals when appropriate.
