Azrieli Talmud Torah | Herzliah is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of our campus. This role ensures that all building systems run efficiently, facilities are well maintained and compliant, and a high-quality environment is provided for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing, coordinating and executing all aspects of maintenance and operations of the facility (which includes two buildings).
  • Manage and oversee maintenance and repairs of the facilities including:
    • Building envelope and roof
    • Garage
    • Garage doors and gates
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Life and safety systems
    • Security systems
    • HVAC
    • BACnet and building controls
    • Elevator
    • Grease and chemical basins
    • Garbage and recycling management
    • Manage maintenance team
    • Snow removal
    • Utilities
    • Photocopiers
    • Telecom
    • Furniture
    • Landscaping
    • Irrigation
    • Minor maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate event set up and strike down
  • Prepare capital maintenance and repair budget
  • Negotiate and manage all supplier contracts for service, maintenance and repairs
  • Act as primary liaison to outside vendors and service suppliers
  • Inspect building systems to ensure working order of facilities
  • Manage Syndicate joint maintenance elements between the YM YWHA and Herzliah

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience managing facilities over 50,000 square feet
  • Experience managing building systems including BACnet and building controls
  • Experience performing minor repairs, painting, hardware etc.
