Title: Math Teacher – Elementary School 

Report to: Director of the Elementary School

Status: Permanent 

Start Date: August 2025

Skills and experiences

• Plan and design teaching/learning situations in relation to the math program.
• Evaluate the progress of learning and the degree of acquisition of students' competencies.
• Establish the essential conditions for maintaining a climate conducive to learning.
• Adhere to the philosophy, values and orientations of the school and promote the educational project.
• To ensure the disciplinary and academic follow-up of students in collaboration with parents and the school administration.
• Any other related task performed by a teacher.

Experience

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in teaching and a certificate awarded by the Ministry of Education
• Knowledge of the curriculum and understanding of the issues.
• Experience teaching at the elementary or secondary level would be an asset.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• Be recognized as a dynamic, motivated and motivating individual.

Required or Desired Qualifications

• Brevet d’enseignement from the Quebec Ministry of Education
