Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Student Supervisor to join our team. As a Student Supervisor, you will be crucial in ensuring school rules and regulations are respected, creating a safe and orderly environment for students. You will monitor various school areas, supervise student activities, and support the school's overall discipline and conduct standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision:
- Halls
- Monitor the halls to ensure that students are in class during class hours.
- Supervise the school floors before the first-period bell, ensuring students respect punctuality.
- Ensure the safe boarding and passage of students onto school buses after school.
- Cafeteria
- Be present in the cafeteria during recess periods.
- Monitor senior and junior lunch hours to ensure cooperation with school boundaries and rules.
- Ensure that students are respecting the expectations in the cafeteria.
- Detentions
- Supervise the detention period during junior and senior lunch hours and/ or after school.
- Classroom
- Substitute for last-minute absentee teachers.
- Engage in classroom interventions as needed.
- Events
- Ensure proper behavior and conduct of students during special events.
- Bussing
- Ensure the safe unloading and loading of students off and onto school buses before and after school.
- Halls
- Policy Enforcement:
- Address any infractions and ensure compliance with school rules, including but not limited to:
- Follow up on improper use of cell phones including tracking and addressing students who do not respect cell phone infractions.
- Advise students in violation of the school uniform policy and ensure rectification.
- Follow up on students lates

Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of school policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage student behavior.
- Ability to maintain a calm and authoritative presence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and respectful school environment.
